Jan Leasure established Monterey Bay Property Management in 1986. Jan has a bachelor's degree and two master's degrees in Education, and prior to entering the real estate field, she taught school at the secondary, undergraduate and graduate levels.
She is a member of the Monterey Peninsula Association of Realtors and served on its Board of Directors; she is a member of the California Association of Realtors and the National Association of Realtors. She is the past President of the Monterey Bay Chapter of the National Association of Residential Property Managers, and a member of the Vacation Rental Managers Association. She also has served on the Board of Directors of the Monterey County Hospitality Association.
She frequently serves as an expert witness in legal cases related to landlord-tenant issues.
